Review: Kit SPF 30+ Face Sunscreen

This was an impulse buy that I have NOT regretted!

"The ultimate in no-fuss face protection, this summer skin saver provides broad spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays. The light, fragrance-free formula makes it great for both guys and gals, and is even suitable for acne-prone skin types. Containing Vitamin E, this non-whitening lotion has a matte-finish and provides a great makeup base. Wear alone or over the top of your moisturiser, before makeup."

Pros:
No strong sunscreen smell
SPF30+
Leaves no white cast
Leaves a matte finish AND skin feels moisturised

Cons:
Takes a minute or so to absorb if you apply it liberally
$31.95
Only available from Kit Cosmetics BUT they have an online store

Much pricier than my old face sunscreen but it really is much, much nicer to apply and wear. My tube of Nutrogena is still kicking around somewhere, I totally abandoned it after buying this! The texture is exactly that of regular sunscreen which means you can accidentally squeeze out too much product - since it's such a lovely texture, I just apply any excess to the backs of my hands. I generally apply this all over my face, neck and decolletage and I'm still on my first tube after months of regular use. I have used powder, BB cream and liquid foundation over the top of this and had no issues.

I definitely recommend this if you have oily skin, medium to dark skin tone, and are looking for a good sunscreen. I'm not a fan of the price (I'm such a cheapskate, I know!) but I think it's such a good product, I'll be re-purchasing when I have the cash to spare.

  1. I was going to buy this for the summer but I thought it was too expensive but now after reading this review I kinda regret it although I did find a nice cheap sunscreen by sun sense that works well :)
