I guess the same as what you felt, although I've never been as close to it as you have.

"It's awful, but I miss that... burn, that rush when it felt like I was able, with pen or keyboard, to bleed a little of my own darkness into form."

I don't think it's awful. I think it's just true. You do lose things by choosing to be mentally healthy; we might as well admit that. But the things you gain by choosing mental health are worth it.

(Although I haven't personally suffered from anything bad enough to be clinical, choosing to be healthy is something I am / have been quite aware of - partly as there is some history of bipolar / anxiety in my family, and partly during the time when my OH was seriously depressed (couldn't afford to have both of us out of it!).)Jingle Bellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18140666771612038714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8568656610692395739.post-75565137886794009012010-09-05T22:00:47.352+08:002010-09-05T22:00:47.352+08:00Thank you both :)Thank you both :)Jade Carverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06831429994944800039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8568656610692395739.post-24933288806852060132010-09-03T17:22:35.055+08:002010-09-03T17:22:35.055+08:00hey, it reminds me of me too. weird, eh?
must be ...hey, it reminds me of me too. weird, eh?

must be one of those universal things...

no, it isn't. we must all think the same..

i think i'm starting to write like her!

but i remember being 12. and i agree with you. not the greatest time of my life, start of many problems. but now, hopefully this adulthood thing resolves some of those 'problems' though similarly it's more like acceptance.

i think that's enough negative stuff for me today :) enjoyed reading!Porcelainehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15471905815173049673noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8568656610692395739.post-6782882340425329492010-09-02T17:20:23.780+08:002010-09-02T17:20:23.780+08:00Your honesty is beautiful.
